It is not summer until I have had a delicious and juicy watermelon! We are in peak watermelon season right now! I absolutely love getting a juicy and flavorful watermelon and incorporating it into my days in the summer time! Summer is finally here! To me and my family, summer means occasionally breaking away from the easy crockpot and skillet meals and busting out the grill a couple times per week. One of my personal go-to grilling meals is kebabs. They have a relatively quick cooking time and are easy to prepare. Plus, you can load them up with veggies. I recently attended a wellness conference and one of the sessions was about sleep. When the presenter surveyed the room, I was surprised to see how many people were victims of sleepless nights or were “wired and tired” during the day. Sleep is so extremely important! It’s one of those aspects of wellness that tends to be ignored because we live in a culture that seems to believe that if you sleep a lot (aka the recommended amount) you’re perceived as lazy, or because of sayings like “I’ll sleep when I’m dead!” more...
