I have a confession to make. I’ve only had meatloaf twice in my life. I think my mom had it too much when she was a kid and we never made it when I was growing up. Recently I was making the below meatball recipe and I had an epiphany: meatloaf was called such because it was meat in the shape of a loaf, and meatballs were called such because they were meat in a ball shape. My latest obsession for breakfast and lunch is quiche. I make it ahead of time on Sunday afternoon and I have it for the next few days. I make different variations, and I can throw in whatever vegetables I have around. Same with cheese- I just use whatever I have on hand. And it’s so easy! more...

You can feel it, fall is in the air. It’s hard not to fall in love with all of the beautiful colors of nature that happen this time of year. We have also started to have some cooler temperatures which makes hanging out in the outdoors a little more inviting for some people. There are a handful of places in our area that allow us to take in the beautiful scenery and also allow us to reap the benefits of being active in the outdoors and taking in that crisp fall air. more...
