Today marks our 5-year wedding anniversary! Wow, how time flies! My husband and I typically plan to go out for a nice dinner to celebrate, but this year I also wanted to include a cake for dessert. New recipe time! I have been experimenting with sheet pan recipes lately as an easy and quick way to get an assortment of vegetables and proteins into our dinners. My son seems to enjoy the zucchini, sweet potatoes, bell peppers, carrots, and cherry tomatoes. Summer is winding down. Kids are worked up and anxious about school starting. Parents are worked up and anxious about school starting. I caught myself getting into an argument the other day with my 3-year-old about why he can’t eat animal crackers for breakfast. Side note, I don’t recommend getting into arguments with small children, it never works in your favor, ever. Back to the main point; breakfast is a big deal!
