Yes, I have a juicer.

by Joanna

I have a juicer. It’s not a super fancy one but it’s not a cheap one, either. It’s a nice, mid-range model that I spent way too much time researching and pouring over (pun intended). And I use it - probably about once a week average as a meal replacement.

There were many, many places that I looked to find juicing recipes.  There was some trial and error, but ultimately, I concocted my own recipe it’s now the only one I use (merely out of convenience).  I would like to share it with you!

I found the website My Phytos that helps calculate the calories since the pulp is extracted in the juicing process.

I would not recommend substituting all of your fruit and vegetable intake in the form of juicing. There is a lot of pulp, a.k.a. fiber that is removed. And yes, I did see recipes for reusing the pulp to make bread, and other “interesting” dishes but that was just a little too much for me. But since I know you’re curious, you can find them here.

If you try either the JoJo Juice or one of the recipes that uses the pulp, let me know what you think. If you have a favorite recipe, let me know that, too. I’m open to expanding the juicing section in my recipe repertoire!
